DTH Hammer, DTH Bit and DTH Drill Rig – Product Details
DTH (Down-the-Hole) drilling tools represent a complete rock drilling system consisting of three core components: the DTH hammer (pneumatic impact tool), the DTH bit (rock-cutting tool), and the DTH drill rig (carrier and rotation/feed system). This integrated system delivers high-frequency impact energy directly to the drill bit at the bottom of the hole, enabling efficient penetration in hard rock formations where top-hammer drilling becomes less effective.
DTH hammers operate on compressed air, with the piston striking the bit directly without energy loss through the drill string. The drill rig provides rotation, feed force, and air supply, while the bit transfers impact energy into the rock.
