IC4600 Display Monitor for Zoomlion Cranes

The IC4600 Display Monitor is a dedicated operator interface console designed for Zoomlion crane Load Moment Indicator (LMI) systems. It operates as the primary visual and control unit within the HC4900 LMI system, working in conjunction with the HC4900 central controller and various sensors to provide real-time crane operating data and safety monitoring .

System Integration

The HC4900 LMI system comprises a HC4900 central unit paired with the IC4600 console, together with sensors that record measured values including boom length, angle, pressure, and load weight . The system operates on a reference/real comparison principle — actual values are compared against calculated reference values (load capacity charts, boom weights, center of gravity data stored in the central memory). When limit values are approached, an overload warning signal is triggered on the display, and machine movements that increase load moment are automatically switched off .

The IC4600 complies with international standards for environmental testing, EMC testing, and CE certification . It features easy programming, convenient online debugging, and a rich library of graphical functions including points, lines, arcs, rectangles, progress bars, and virtual instrument panels to help operators efficiently understand and utilize the LMI system .

Safety Warning

The LMI control system, including the IC4600 display, is designed to assist in safe crane operation by warning operators of approaching overload conditions. However, it is not a substitute for good operator judgment, experience, and accepted safe operating procedures. If the LMI fails or is not functioning correctly, crane operation must cease immediately and an expert service engineer should be contacted .
